BHOPAL: Kamal Nath will be sworn in as Madhya Pradesh chief minister
on December 17 and will take oath in the presence of several UPA leaders.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former prime minister Manmohan Singh will attend the oath ceremony. In Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel will be administered the oath at 5 pm.
Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah has taken to Twitter to wish Kamal Nath as new chief ministers of Madhya Pradesh.
The Congress has won 114 seats in the 230-member House, the poll results of which were declared on December 11. The Congress on Thursday night named veteran leader Kamal Nath as Madhya Pradesh’s next chief minister.
